  • Daniel Nozick is an NYU rising junior in Film & TV. From a young age, animation has been his passion. Drawing from the inspiration of his favorite comics and shows, Daniel has a passion for combining the familiar with the absurd.

One of Those Nights…

  • Despite his roommates’ jokes, college freshman Chris doesn’t entertain the idea that their room could be haunted by a ghost. But, when they leave him alone one night, mysterious-somewhat inexplicable-events start happening. Chris can only ignore them so long, before he must confront the terrors infested not just within his dorm... but his reality.

  • Josh Molinari is a writer and filmmaker based in New York currently majoring in Film & Television at NYU. His writing typically lives in the narrative world, but he has additionally created various commercial projects and docu-series. Having several paranormal experiences as a child, his writing and filmmaking typically revolves around topics of supernatural events, insanity, and the limits of human morality.

Unpaid Dues

  • One lonely night, an alienated lone-shark meets a mysterious young woman. The two spend the night around the streets of New York, and a romance blossoms. But, as their relationship develops, he begins to discover secrets hidden beneath the surface of her past. As her motives come into question, he must ultimately decide to what point he’s willing to go to for their love.

  • Erik Smerznak is a cinematographer/editor based in New York, who works across narrative, documentary, and commercial projects. Majoring in both Film and TV Production and Philosophy at NYU, his projects like to explore temporal and spatial relationships, especially in the chaos of urban environments. His approach is informed by experiences of alienation and feelings of detachment from a specific time and place, often blending aspects of truth and fiction.

  • Home from school for the summer, lonely drummer Charlie is trying to find a band to play with. After his dropout cousin, Paul, reveals he has a connection to a local band, the two embark on a journey to try and make Charlie's drumming dreams come true.

  • Theo Whitehead is an Iowa-born filmmaker based in New York City, currently attending New York University with a major in Film & Television and a minor in Producing.
